Awarded Nursery: Longscroft Nursery

We are very pleased to complete this award and achieve the gold standard level for Paediatric First Aid. Completing Millie’s Mark sends a clear message to our parents of the importance that the nursery places on training, and ensuring that we have procedures in place to promote safety. We are a 105 place setting and we pride ourselves on providing high quality care with a child-centred approach across the nursery.

 

We changed various methods of our practice for the better and ensured First Aid training became a regular part of our professional development and updated training. The staff are now very confident and the confidence tool questionnaire was a valuable resource.

 

We believe this is a beneficial award all settings should have. We could not be prouder of what we have achieved!
